Challenge

FUNGI is a no-code tool for NFTs, empowering its customers to build, automate, and innovate with NFTs — without writing any code. Creators, brands, and businesses can unlock new economic opportunities and build communities through NFTs while retaining complete control over their products.


My studio was in charge for designing the visual identity for the brand.

Solution

Identity for FUNGI is straightforward and playful. Illustrations and patterns are inspired by the name, playing with the mycelium of fungi in abstract ways while illustrating the idea of blockchain, a technology that consists of records, called blocks, that are securely linked together. The logo continues the same story, with the letters soft like mushrooms, whose shape is crumpled here and there. A bold but narrow color palette consists of neon green, black and white. The font used in the identity is the nearly-but-not sans ABC Arizona Flare.

My studio designed the visual identity for the project. The aim was to create positivity and hope during pandemic, and encourage people to act and support each other when getting through these challenging times.

The illustration-driven identity conveys the themes of caring, working together, and believing in a better future, by a rich and diverse library of pictograms drawn in different styles.
